    If you are trying to lose weight in a hurry, there are several ways to do it. It’s important to keep in mind, however, that weight lost quickly often comes back quickly. If you’re not willing to change your eating and exercise habits in a fundamental way, you are not going to be able to keep the weight off for good.

    Stop Eating Dessert

    This is a tried-and-true method of shedding pounds. If you can simply skip dessert for a couple of weeks, you will be amazed at how quickly your waistline shrinks. It probably seems like an impossible thing to do, but if you can manage to get up from the dinner table without having your regular dessert, you are on your way to significant shedding of pounds.


    Eat a Piece of Fruit Before Each Meal

    Consuming fruit before each meal puts fiber into your stomach and takes the edge off your appetite. You will probably find that you eat less as a result. Oranges are particularly effective in this regard. The fiber in the fruit serves to give you a feeling of “fullness” that curbs your appetite and helps you eat less. Try it, it works!

    Go for a Short Walk After Each Meal

    If you can walk for 10 to 15 minutes after every meal, you will help your body to burn calories. The number of calories your body is able to burn off each day is a major key to weight loss. You don’t have to be an athlete to take advantage of walking to lose weight. Basically, anyone who has a comfortable pair of shoes and a place to walk can participate in this healthy habit.


    Buy a Juice Machine

    A juice machine will allow you to make fresh and delicious fruit and vegetable juices. If you drink your juice every morning, for example, you will feel full and not need to eat a standard breakfast. This will also help you to detox and lose weight. A juice machine can be ordered online at a variety of sellers, and will probably cost around $200. But it is well worth it for the health benefits it brings to your lifestyle.


    Go on a Vegetarian Diet

    Eating vegetables only for a couple of weeks is also a good way to drop pounds. For heavy meat eaters, this will be a dramatic change in your lifestyle and should result in significant weight loss. There are many websites offering vegetarian recipes that are healthy and easy to make. If you try this new style of eating, you are sure to be rewarded with weight loss and a great sense of wellness.


    But remember, you have to make fundamental changes to your lifestyle for any weight loss to become permanent. This requires more than a couple weeks of discipline. You will need to seriously think about your lifestyle and eating habits and then make the necessary adjustments for the long-term.
