What is your favorite kitchen utensil? For me, it is latex gloves … the kind doctors use. They rock!
I learned this diet tip from my mom. I love to cook with my hands and doing it this way makes it fun and sanitary.
Most of us take a few (or several) bites of whatever food we happen to be cooking. The benefit of using surgical gloves in lieu of other utensils is how bad they taste!
In this video you will see some of the ways latex gloves can make your life in the kitchen easier:
Most people don’t realize how many calories it’s possible to consume while preparing a meal. And these calories are often perceived as free ones “that don’t really count.”
I like to tell my clients, “Don’t eat too much, because it all counts.” By wearing latex gloves during meal preparation, you will be able to substantially reduce your calorie consumption.
Every time you are tempted to take a bite of whatever you are cooking, the unpleasant taste of latex will remind you to stay focused on the task at hand.
Best of Luck, and stay tuned to this space for more of my helpful diet tips in the days and weeks ahead!
