I encourage all of my clients to take Forskolin, because it really helps to enhance your metabolism. If your metabolism is sleeping, Forskolin is going to wake it up!
One of my clients was able to lose 20 pounds in 4 months by taking Forskolin. She re-shaped her body in ways that she never imagined, and dropped four pants sizes in the process.
It is a perennial herb with fleshy, fibrous roots that grows wild in the warm subtropical temperate areas in Thailand, Burma and India.
In recent years, Coleus forskohlii has gained recognition as the only known plant source of Forskolin, an adenylate cyclase activator, which is an enzyme involved in the production of Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate (cAMP).
Cyclic AMP induces a chain of biochemical events that trigger metabolic processes and diet-induced thermogenesis, thereby supporting healthy body composition and lean body mass.
Scientists have found that Forskolin can promote the breakdown of stored fats in human fat cells. In other words, it helps you lose weight!
Forskolin has many health benefits, one being that it actually enhances or supports thyroid function so for those of you women who are over 40 and your thyroid is starting to back up, this will enhance it and push it forward.
The other most important best health benefit is that it helps your body burn fat. We all know that if something helps you burn fat you’re going to be happier and healthier and have less heart disease.
Forskolin what absolutely help your body to burn fat and it always works better in unison with other supplements like whey protein (a good 80% grade whey) or other weight loss aids like L-Carnitine, white kidney bean extract, or raspberry ketones.
None of these weight loss supplements work really well by themselves, but if you use Forskolin together with them, it’s like you have a “fat-burning orchestra,” as each one will enhance fat-burning in a different way.
That way if your body gets used to one supplement, it has all the other ones working in conjunction with it: what I like to call the one-two-three punch.
By using Forskolin in this way, you’ll always have some kind of fat burning going on. Take 125 milligrams of Forskolin at breakfast or with a meal mixed with the other things and watch what happens. Start out slow and only add more as you need it.
Be aware that medications for high blood pressure (calcium channel blockers) interact with FORSKOLIN. Forskolin may decrease blood pressure, so taking Forskolin with medication for high blood pressure might cause your blood pressure to go too low.
Individuals with cystic kidneys are recommended to not take any form of Forskolin, as it may enlarge their cysts. People with ulcers are also advised to avoid Forskolin, as it may increase amounts of gastric acid.
